If your MMA gym lacks weights and/or exercises equipment, this video provides one of the many great body weight exercises there are. The best thing is they require a partner. So forget the time he accidentally kicked a little too low or the time he smashed your teeth through your bottom lip. It’s time for a little team work.

4 Body weight exercises covered in the video:

  1. Body weight push up
  2. Rows
  3. Situps
  4. Body Crawl

I’m thinking a great drill would be, each person does each exercises 3 times for a minute. So it would be one minute on, one minute off.  For example, the person doing the laying on the ground doing the pressing will do press for a minute then switch to being on top. Same thing for rows and sit ups.

For the body crawl, do some 5 minute rounds like they say in the video. I haven’t tried any of these workouts out, but I’m going to try to give them a shot this week.
