If you have some cash, I really think it’s worth the money to invest in some under armor. Yes it’s pricey but it’s design is worth every dollar. I personally purchased it because I needed something I could wear under my fight shorts and a top that would allow a full range of motion. The last thing I wanted was to get caught in my own t-shirt or the inability to perform a jiu jitsu move because my boxers split at the seems.

Some of the key features of Under Armor are:

Lightweight

Keeps your some what dry and cool because the material absorbs the sweat

Very strong material, no rips of tares.

Allows a for full flexibility

Compression Shorts

I believe shock doctor manufactures a cup that comes with compression shorts. In the case you don’t have a shock doctor cup, I highly recommend the Under Armor compression shorts. If I remember correctly, it cost between 30-40 bucks. They are extremely comfortable and keep me cool. It is a definite must have under your fight shorts. You must be crazy if you rock regular boxers under your shorts.

Underarmor Top

I couldn’t find the name of the under armor product that I bought, but it’s just tight fitting under armor that you throw on, either by itself or under a t-shirt. Likewise with the compression shorts, the top keeps me cooler than a t-shirt would and allows a full range of motion. It makes a great rash guard.

I picked both of these up for about 60 bucks at a local sports store. You can do the same. In my opinion, I feel that it is pretty expensive but worth it. I’ve been using the same under armor for a year with no rips or tares.
