Here is an interesting drill I found that looks promising. I’m not much of a wrestler, but a drill like this would dramatically improve my take downs. My problem with take downs is, I just don’t do them much. I never wrestled in high school like a lot of these guys you see who can do a great take down.
A drill like this will create repetition with a great mixture of cardio and explosiveness. I’ll update this post once I try it out at my gym.
Like anything else, the more you do it the more it becomes like second nature. Whether it’s wrestling, jiu jitsu, or boxing.
On a different note, I’ve been job hunting and just enjoying my summer vacation for the last few weeks. I just started working at The Apple Store, and I’m going to start getting back to the swing of things (having a job forces me to manage my time better).
